SCDE’s Approach
Leading by example, Superintendent Weaver launched PRYH in February 2024 as a pilot in ten Richland One Schools. 63 SCDE employees voluntarily gave 320+ hours of support to local schools, and the PRYH journey began.
Education is Transformation. It changes lives. That is why people work so hard to become educated and why education has always been the key to the American Dream, the force that erases arbitrary divisions of race and class and culture and unlocks every person’s God-given potential.
